AJR, the 3-brother-band born and raised in the heart of New York City, is moving onto the music scene with a fusion of pop, rock and hip hop. Adam – 21, Jack – 14 and Ryan -17, write and perform original music and iconic covers.  At the same time, they self-produce as well as record the tracks in their living room studio.

Jack, the lead singer, has a unique position in the music world. As a 14-year-old boy capable of soulful runs and powerful choruses, his skills at the mic have helped to shape AJR’s distinctive sound. “You can see we each have a different voice and perspective  and we are not afraid to say what’s real” Jack says. “I think that’s something that really sets us apart from the other boy bands.”

Ryan, the primary writer and producer of the music, realized at a young age that his talents were not meant to be contained in the living room. Drawing from inspirations like Chris Martin, Eminem, and Bob Dylan, he carved a niche for his unique beat-making and tight production.

Adam, the oldest, has contributed the sophistication and intellect that bolsters AJR’s sound. As both a lyricist and contemplative singer, he adds elements that keep the music both cultured and attractive to a wide-range of audiences. Adam has also introduced Ryan and Jack to a range of genres of music, merging and interpreting them to mold their own style.

From street performing in parks around Manhattan, to recording tracks in their own living room, to opening at world-renown theaters like Lincoln Center, AJR has stepped out of their NYC apartment, and into the world-wide music scene. The 3 brothers—Adam, Jack, and Ryan—have begun to make an impact on the pop music  culture, and the world. “We have been working hard for a bunch of years,” Jack says. “And now that we have something to say for it, we hope the world will listen.”
